Andre has expertise in enterprise and business start-ups, especially with young entrepreneurs. He employs the Enterprise 360 model to encourage the development of business ideas and enable young people to test the water of entrepreneurship. Andre has also specialised in developing resources and learning programmes both within education and business. He trains and delivers workshops for a number of bodies, both in the UK and internationally. Andre is a project facilitator who works with clients to conceptualise new ideas and identify funding for innovation and development, especially for social enterprise. |

Professional Experience |
Andre Mostert leads on Entrepreneurship, on behalf of Royal Docks Business School in the University of East London, where he teaches Enterprise to students and works on community outreach. Andre has written teacher training and development projects for various United Kingdom education agencies, including TDA, BECTA, DfES, etc. As the lead trainer for the European Community Nepal IT project (www.nepalit.eu), he developed resources and delivered training to various intermediate agencies (national agencies and regional Chambers of Commerce) and IT SMEs in Nepal and Pakistan, creating the Nepal ICT consortium and the Pakistan ICT Consortium. Andre has run training for SMEs at City University (Practical Financial Management for SMEs, Economics for SMEs, Globalisation and SMEs) and Essex University (Accessing UK and EU Funding for SMEs, Business Development for Chambers of Commerce). He is currently developing the Pg Dip in Financial Services Management and a PgDip suite in Enterprise qualifications for the Association of Business Professionals, which will be available worldwide and accredited on the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework. Andre has extensive experience in working across borders and in 2004 managed an Africa wide pilot project targeting capacity building for HIV organisations in 21 countries to assess the effective use of ICT |

Interests outside of work |
Andre is a fervent believer in lifelong learning and having completed a Masters in African Languages in 2011 is currently undertaking a PhD examining the evolution of language. |
