Cogito will deliver programmes for schools on Careers, Employability and Enterprise. Careers and Employability Currently working in partnership with Inspire Education.Cogito is working in partnership with InspireEducation to deliver a range of programmes to establish and help raise the aspirations and develop the employability skills of young people. The InspireEducation programmes have been created for educators with the following objectives:- Achieve academic excellence All programmes are delivered in 2.5 hour sessions to up to 100 students by an accredited licensee. The Employability Skills training programme is also available as a combined 12 hour workshop delivered in 6 x 2 hour sessions to 30 pupils at a time giving a more in-depth and personalised service. Commitment to Quality Inspire Education and Cogito are associate members of the Institute of Business Excellence in Education (IEBE) a professional body dedicated to improving the employability and life chances of young people. Cogito holds the Licensee agreement for South West London. Cogito works with InspireEducation to deliver programmes which meet schools statutory responsibility for the provision of Careers Guidance. Our programmes have been written in collaboration with employers and are inspiring and accurate about the world of work, encouraging students to manage their own careers and learning pathways. Inspire Education are currently working to secure the Matrix Standard.
Enterprise 360 The Enterprise 360 programme is intended to promote enterprise across the education sector, and has been successfully demonstrated at all levels of education in London, encouraging children and young people to engage in an entrepreneurial mindset and set the seeds of future business creation. Even at these tender years actual business enterprises have been created. Children have set up their own sustainable tuck shops or run their own stall at school fairs. With older students at FE Enterprise 360 has already led to some real business initiatives – see the Young Stars project
